Getaway
As we all know, it’s winter. Cold weather and I do not agree, so last weekend I decided to go to Florida. Why not? But really, I went to Florida (for the first time!) and attended a conference-type thing with my campus ministry. It was a lot of fun, very tiring, but also very fulfilling. Just take a look at my books for this semester! The three thickest ones (Don Quixote, Tom Jones, and Vanity Fair) are all for the same class, and all are right there around the 1000 page mark! Also, I have to read Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man again, and I am not a happy camper.

…begins tomorrow. I came back to Lexington Sunday and I’ve been catching up with friends! Last night we celebrated Danielle’s birthday with cake and mighty kids meals. We also opened our handmade Christmas presents from each other, which was pretty fun. Maybe pictures later? I’d have to steal them from the birthday girl. It’s snowing outside my window. Pretty.
